Super EASY Almond Date Milkshake

This milkshake is super easy to make and delicious!!  It makes me think of the joy of finding the chocolate at the end of the drumstick cone...as at the bottom of this shake will be a treasure trove of date pieces...YUM

Almond Date Milkshake


 2 tablespoons of raw almond butter **
2 Medjool Dates,pit removed
1 1/2 cups COLD water**
1 FROZEN banana

Blend all ingredients in blender and blend on HIGH speed for 40-60 seconds...until it's creamy looking.
Make sure your banana is frozen, otherwise it will not thicken.  If you want your milkshake thicker you can add a little less water or add extra frozen banana.

**if you have almond milk you can use 1 1/2 cups of almond milk but eliminate the almond butter and water. 

Fact:  Dates contain more potassium than bananas
